What is HSBC Easy Pay?

HSBC Easy Pay is a brand new, P2P payment service in the HSBC HK Mobile Banking app. It enables HSBC Internet Banking customers to send1 up to HKD5,000 each day to anyone who is an HSBC Internet Banking customer or Hang Seng Personal e-Banking customer2. With this service, making transfers is easy and free of charge. To make a P2P payment, all you need is the recipient's mobile number3. Transfers can be made with just a few taps, anytime, anywhere. Now, HSBC Easy Pay has been redesigned to let you transfer easier on the go.

Transfer with HSBC Easy Pay with just your voice

"Hey Siri. Send Sophia 100 dollars". Then confirm with Touch ID and that's it.

HSBC Easy Pay now works with Siri*. Sending money is now easier and more intuitive on the HSBC HK Mobile Banking app. All you need is your voice and your fingerprint to authenticate the transfer.

Notes:

  1. To send money via HSBC Easy Pay, the customer has to (1) be the sole or 'either-to-sign' joint accountholder of at least one of the following HSBC accounts: HSBC Premier HKD Account, HSBC Advance HKD Account, Personal Integrated HKD Account, HKD Statement Savings Account, HKD Passbook Savings Account, HKD Current Account, Super Ease Account, University Student Account, Cash Card account or Revolving credit facility account; AND (2) be an existing HSBC Personal Internet Banking customer who maintains his/her latest valid mobile number and email address with HSBC.
  2. To receive money via HSBC Easy Pay, the customer has to (1) be the sole or 'either-to-sign' joint accountholder of at least one of the HSBC accounts listed in Note 1 above or at least one of the following accounts at Hang Seng Bank Limited: Prestige Banking HKD account, Preferred Banking HKD account, Green Banking HKD account, Integrated Account HKD account, HKD Statement/ATM Statement Savings account, HKD Passbook Savings account or HKD Current account; AND (2) be an existing HSBC Personal Internet Banking customer or Hang Seng Personal e-Banking customer who maintains his/her latest valid mobile number with HSBC and Hang Seng Bank Limited respectively. For customers with both HSBC and Hang Seng Bank Limited accounts, the money will be credited to the account maintained with the same bank from which the payment is made; except customers who have registered for the service in either HSBC or Hang Seng Bank Limited, the money will be credited to the registered account.
  3. The mobile number entered by the sender needs to be the same as the one the recipient has provided to HSBC or Hang Seng Bank Limited.
  4. If your contact details are jointly used with anyone, please update them to contact details that are used exclusively by you.
  5. For HSBC customers who want to view/change the default account for receiving money, please log on to the HSBC HK Mobile Banking, then choose "Settings" under "HSBC Easy Pay".

*Note:
Siri supports only HSBC Easy Pay and no other HSBC banking services. By using HSBC Easy Pay with Siri, you agree the things you say and dictate (including but not limited to payee name and transaction amount) will be recorded and sent to Apple to process your requests. Please refer to "About Siri and Privacy" in your Apple device settings for details of what information will be sent to Apple and how such information will be used or processed by Apple. Siri may not be able to recognize slang words, bilingual or multilingual languages. Please ensure voice instructions are clear, and the pronounced name is the same as that in your Contacts.

HSBC Easy Pay with Siri is only available on device with Apple iOS 10.0.0 or above which supports Siri function, and with HSBC HK Mobile banking app Mobile Security Key and Touch ID activated. But you are not required to open or log in HSBC HK Mobile Banking app to make payment through Siri.
