Submit Supporting Documents for Personal Credit Card Application

Thank you for applying for HSBC Personal Loan service! Now you can submit supporting documents online at ease and convenience to facilitate the loan approval process.



Easy upload with 3 steps
  1. Fill out Personal Information
    • For security reason, customers submitting documents via Public Website need to complete CAPTCHA test.



  2. Upload Required Documents
    • Please sign on the acknowledgement page of your personal loan application and submit together with other required documents.
    • You can upload up to 5 documents at a time and each file cannot exceed 2 MB.
    • Wide range of file format can be supported including GIF, JPG (JPEG), TIF (TIFF) and PDF.



  3. Confirm Submission
 Documents Required
  1. Income Proof for HSBC auto payroll customers and Pre-approved loan customers:
    • Income proof is not required for HSBC payroll customers with at least one month payroll record (three months for irregular income earners*) immediately prior to the loan application OR existing pre-approved loan customers. The Bank, however, reserves the right to request for the same at any time.

  2. Income Proof for non HSBC auto payroll customers:
    • Bank account statements/passbook explicitly showing the credit of monthly salary in the past one month (three months for irregular income earners*); or

    • Bank account statements/passbook showing monthly deposits for the past one month (three months for irregular income earners*) plus recent salary payroll advice dated within three months of application or valid employment letter confirming job title / income details dated within three months of application or valid Tax Demand Note issued by Inland Revenue Department for the last tax year.

  3. Additional supporting documents
    • Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID) (Not required for existing HSBC customers) ; OR working visa / employment contract / employment letter with details on employment period for applicants who are not holders of Hong Kong Permanent ID card.
    • The latest bank statement(s) for the personal overdraft / loan / credit card account(s) from which the balance(s) will be transferred (only applicable for Personal Instalment Loan Balance Consolidation Program applicants).

*Note: Irregular income earners include customers working on a part-time, commission or profit sharing basis.
